Photograph it Now!

I recently learned again the value of photography. Several years ago I photographed my deceased mother-in-law's pearl necklace gracing a statue of the Virgin Mary in her bedroom. Things are deteriorating in the old farmhouse. When I went in the room recently, the statue was knocked over and what remained of the necklace was a tiny piece. Squirrels, mice - somebody ate it! It reminded me that when I think I can always get an image later, it isn't always true.
